Hello Terri, I love the quotes you used. Children do not have a time table that they are on for their development, except maybe their own. After working with two-year-olds for as long as I have I have seen children's development in some areas merely "float" while in other areas they are growing and developing faster than I can keep up with them. As teacher's and parents we should accept this and help the children appreciate what they can do, which is usually amazing anyway. Joseph

Hello Terri. What a great quote! I am always reminded about how important it is to be careful about what we say and do in front of children of all ages because as the quote points out, they are natural mimics and will call us out on our behavior every time!
Thank you for your professional collaboration in EDUC 6160-2. I want to thank you for your encouraging words on my discussions and for sharing yourself through your own. I look forward to collaborating and more as the program goes on. Be well! Kim
